Opening joint accounts in SCSS

Both the spouses can open individual and/or joint accounts with each other in Senior Citizen Savings Scheme (SCSS)

My wife and I are both senior citizens. Can we open two joint accounts in Senior Citizen Savings Scheme (SCSS) for 15 lakh each, one account with me as the first name and she as the second name and the second second with my wife as the first name and me as the second name?

Yes, both the spouses can open individual and/or joint accounts with each other in Senior Citizen Savings Scheme (SCSS) and both can invest up to a maximum amount of ₹15 lakh.
