Goldman Sachs CPSE Exchange Traded Fund was launched in March 28, 2014. You haven't mentioned when you have invested in the scheme. So, it is not clear how long you have held your investment. If you have held it for more than 12 months, you don't have to pay any tax on your returns. Long-term capital gains tax is zero on equity investments held for more than 12 months. If you are selling your investment before 12 months, you will have to pay a short-term capital gains tax of 15 per cent.
