Should I sell Reliance Growth?

The scheme has been a relative underperformer in the category by a sizable margin in various periods

I have invested in Reliance Growth fund via a SIP of ₹1,000 for 36 months (started in 30/09/2008 and completed on 02/09/2011). The fund has been underperforming for quite some time. Please tell me whether I should hold on to my investments or shift to another fund? If I should shift the money, please suggest a scheme to hold for long term.

Reliance Growth is a three-star mutlicap scheme that has been around since 1995. The scheme has given around 24 per cent returns since launch. However, the scheme has been lagging behind top-performers in the category by a sizable margin in various periods. You can consider shifting the money to any one of the top-rated diversified equity funds.
