I am planning to invest ₹2,000 through a monthly SIP in Axis Long Term Equity Fund. I am a first time investor and I have been researching on ELSS funds for the past few weeks. During my research I came to know that an investor should submit KYC documents to begin investments in mutual funds. Please help me with the following questions:
KYC norms are mandatory for all investors (including existing investors and joint holders) while investing with any SEBI-registered mutual fund. It is an one-time activity and you can invest and transact in any AMC once you are KYC complied.
