Why VR doesn't Rate Pharma Funds

We don't rate pharma funds because this category is made up of only 3 funds, which doesn't meet our criteria

Why are the Pharma funds not rated by VRO ?

Value Research does not rate an equity or hybrid fund with a less than 3-year performance record or a debt fund with a less than 18-month performance track record. Plus, our fund ratings are based on relative performance within a category. Each category must have a minimum of 10 funds for it to be rated. As you can notice, there are only three funds in the Pharma category, so they do not fall within our rating criteria.
