Mid-cap Funds for an STP

It's a good idea to invest lump sum in a debt fund and start an STP to a mid-cap fund. Choose from these options

I want to invest a lump sum amount of ₹2.5 lakh in a short-term debt fund and start an STP to a mid-cap fund. Please suggest some good funds. I currently have SIPs running in HDFC Top 200.

Given your current investment in HDFC Top 200, adding a mid-cap fund to your portfolio is a good idea. Some good mid-cap funds to choose from are Axis Midcap, BNP Paribas Mid Cap or Religare Invesco Mid and Small Cap Fund. Pick any one of these funds and a relevant short-term debt fund from the same fund family and spread the systematic transfer plan (STP) over a period of 1-18 months.
