It is generally perceived that if a company is trading near its all-time high, it must be expensive to buy its shares at that price. While it may be true most of the times, it is not necessarily the case always. We have compiled a list of companies which are trading near their all-time high but are still below their median PE.
The filters used are:
• Share price has to be above 85 per cent of the all-time high
• It should be at a discount to its 5-year median PE
• Minimum market capitalisation of Rs 100 crore
• Those with marginal earnings have been excluded from due to high volatility of their PE ratios
