Tracking Fund Investments

Track the performance of your mutual funds by using our Portfolio Manager tool...

I am investing Rs 2,000 every month in HDFC Top 200, Reliance Growth, IDFC Premier Equity and Birla Sun Life Midcap. I plan to stay invested for the long-term. I want to know how I can track the performance of these funds. I also want to invest Rs 2,000 more. Where should I invest it, in another equity fund or a gold ETF? Please advice.

All mutual fund investors can avail an electronic account statement on a daily basis. Your registrar can send you this statement by email if you apply for it. Alternatively, you can create a free account on our website and use our Portfolio Manager tool to track your fund as well as stock investments. The funds that you're investing in at present are good funds; you can stay invested in them. For the additional investment, choose a gold fund or a gold ETF only if you plan to convert your investments into physical gold at a later date. If long-term investment is your goal, then choose an equity fund to invest in.
