The asset management company is wholly-owned by US-based Prudential Financial Inc (PFI). In a little over two years since its launch, this fund house has predominantly debt schemes on offer. Although, there is an equity fund and two hybrid schemes on offer, they are yet to attain scale or showcase performance. The AMC lacks the necessary focus to position itself in a crowded mutual fund market place.
