Slipping in Performance

Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity has turned into a mediocre fund. Plan you exit in 2-3 months…

I invest Rs 5,000 per month in Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity via SIPs. I started this investment in May 2011. The fund’s rating has now slipped to 3 stars from the earlier 4 stars. Should I still continue with it?

Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity has slipped on its performance very consistently. From a 5-star rating, it slipped to 4 stars and has now become a 3-star fund. The fund hasn’t done anything remarkable for a long time now; it has turned into a fairly mediocre fund.
You should give it some time, keep an eye on its performance for 2-3 months and plan your exit if you don’t see an improvement in performance.
