Review Once a Year

Good funds can see a fall in their performance. It is important to review your funds on a yearly basis…

I have been investing in HDFC Equity, Reliance Regular Savings Equity, ICICI Prudential Discovery, UTI Dividend Yield and IDFC Premier Equity via SIPs for the past 7 years. I have recently opted for a housing loan, so I might stop investing in these funds now. But I don’t need this money for the next 10 years. So should I keep the money invested in these funds or move it to some other funds?

You have chosen some extremely good funds. However, good funds can turn into bad funds, and vice versa. Hence, while you should keep your money invested in these funds, you can't afford to forget about it for the next 10 years. You should keep an eye on the funds you have and review their performance at least once a year.
