Funds are now allowed to have only one plan. All AMC websites have notices about discontinued plans…

AMCs are discontinuing many schemes as per SEBI regulations. How can one know which schemes are being discontinued? -Sheetal Kiran

Effective from 1st October 2012, every mutual fund is allowed to have only one plan. AMCs have stopped taking new money into the other plans of their funds, but the plans continue to exist. To find out which plans have stopped taking new money, you can log onto our website or the websites of the fund companies.
