I want advice regarding a suitable fund that invests in a recurring savings plan for 5 years.

We believe you're referring to the recurring savings plan as a packaging that was recently launched by Birla Sun Life. This is a vehicle worth considering; wherein you can get a decent amount of insurance for free if you can commit a recurring saving for a 5-year timeframe. This investment vehicle offers two plans - one that invests entirely in fixed income and the other, an MIP that has a small allocation to equity. We would suggest that you opt for the second plan.
