Growth Portfolio

Consider the Value Research Growth Portfolio for your long-term investments in mutual funds…

I am 39 years old and so far all my investments have been in real estate. Now, I am planning to diversify and invest in long term funds. What is the right strategy to get started? Will investing in 5-star funds be a good idea?

You could look at the Value Research Growth Portfolio which currently has around 75 per cent of its assets in equity, and the rest in debt. You can invest equal amounts in each of the funds, but do so via a systematic investment plan (SIP).
