Is it advisable to switch from SBI Magnum Tax Gain to SBI Magnum Emerging Businesses? Find out…

I have some matured units of SBI Magnum Tax Gain. I’m thinking of switching the matured units to SBI Magnum Emerging Businesses. Is this an advisable move?

It is quite natural for investors to get upset with SBI Magnum Tax Gain, which was a blockbuster fund 5 years back and then slipped into mediocrity. However, it is still a good large-cap fund and is beginning to do well. We would suggest you to hold onto it.

SBI Magnum Emerging Businesses is a very aggressive fund. This fund can suffer if the markets remain volatile. But it has done exceedingly well of late. So be aware of the risks if you decide to make the change.
