The market was up marginally during the week after a muted performance the previous week. The BSE Sensex, Midcap, and Smallcap indices posted returns of 1.4, 3.8, and 2.7 per cent, respectively. While the BSE SME IPO index continued to be the best performer for a third consecutive week, with a return of 8.8 per cent, the BSE PSU index was the second best, with 5.3 per cent returns.
