Please throw some light on LIC’s Jeevan Tarang policy.
Jeevan Tarang is a money-back policy that provides whole life cover. You basically get three things from it: insurance, annual repayment in a limited amount and bonus on maturity. But this is just a repackaged policy, which is strictly avoidable because it has absolutely no transparency. You can't even compute the returns you're earning. Such policies are injurious to holders because they don’t give good returns, don’t provide adequate returns and you can't even pull your money out.
