The market was up slightly during the week inching back to the levels since the fall in March 2024. The BSE Sensex, Midcap, and Smallcap indices posted a return of 1.0, 2.4, and 0 per cent respectively. BSE SME IPO index was the best performer during the week with a return of 7.4 per cent.
