Diversify for the Long-term

Choose diversified funds for an investment horizon of 5-10 years. Here are a few to pick from

I have 10 mutual funds schemes, but no stocks in my portfolio. I’ve got Rs 30 lakh that I want to invest in an equity fund, which is a good performer, is expected to do well in the future and also pays regular dividends. I don’t mind taking a risk as I don’t need this money for the next 5-10 years. What funds would you recommend?

For your investment horizon, we would suggest that you don’t invest in balanced funds or thematic funds. Choose diversified funds on the basis of their performance over various market cycles. You can invest in HDFC Equity, ICICI Prudential Discovery, Tata Equity PE Ratio or UTI Opportunities.
