Don’t Time Markets

Invest in a disciplined way in mutual funds & refrain from timing the markets…

I had SIPs of Rs 500 in Reliance Growth that I stopped in December 2011. Can I invest in it again?
-Sanjay

Yes, you can invest again in the fund. If you had redeemed your investments because you needed the money, then we can't comment on your decision. But if you redeemed because you were disappointed with the market, then you were trying to time the markets and you missed out on the recent surge that we witnessed in the past 5-6 weeks. Hence, invest in a disciplined way and don’t try to time the markets.
