Once you have selected good funds, you must not forget to keep monitoring their performance…

I would like to invest in IDFC Small and Midcap and HDFC Midcap Opportunities for a five year time frame. I have been getting mixed views on IDFC Small and Midcap fund from various sources that I have accessed?- Sukhendu Goswami

It appears that you have deliberately looked at funds that sport mid and small caps. Both are good schemes from good fund houses. Go with both. But keep monitoring their performance vis-à-vis their benchmark and category average.
