Funds Over Ulips

Mutual funds score over Ulips as long-term investment products because they focus only on investing…

I am of 22 and want to plan for my retirement at 50, but I am confused whether to invest in ULIP or mutual funds for my retirement kitty?- Praful Ghildiyal

At your age, you have age on your side and you should look at investing in mutual funds instead of Ulips. Ulips are hybrid products that combine insurance and investing and in the process compromise on both the fronts. You should invest regularly and systematically to achieve your financial goal to build a retirement corpus.
