Tata Infrastructure invests in companies that are in the infrastructure sector, but has a pretty wide investment basket which is large-cap heavy. Infrastructure as a theme under-performed the broad equity categories since 2008 and has not managed stupendous returns. However, the fund has not fared poorly in comparison to several other funds in the category. If you are not satisfied with the returns, you should consider exiting this fund and look for a broad diversified fund instead.
