Redeeming Ambiguities

You can redeem your mutual fund investments from any city no matter what form you own them in…

How can I redeem my offline investments in mutual funds? I no more live in the city where I bought these funds?
- Roopesh

You do not need to be in the same city to redeem your mutual funds even if you have them in physical form. You can redeem your mutual fund units by filling up the transaction slip available with the asset management company as well as the bottom of the fund’s account statement. You need to fill details pertaining to the fund scheme that you own, the folio number, your current address, the amount or units that you wish to redeem and the bank account details for the redeemed sum to be directly credited to you.
