Consider bank fixed deposits if you are clear about when you will need the invested money…

I have Rs 10 lakh to invest, which I will need in a year. Can you suggest funds that I can invest this in?

If you are clear about the time frame to invest this sum; you can consider bank deposits. Currently bank term deposits are offering lucrative rates, which are assured and guaranteed unlike mutual funds that do not guarantee returns. You can alternately even consider liquid funds to invest this sum for better tax realisations at the end of the tenure; the only risk, these do not guarantee returns.
