Better Late Than Never

Despite a late start to investing, make the best of it by regular & systematic investments…

I am 39 and interested in investing in SIPs for 15 years. I would like to invest around Rs 50,000 every month. Can you suggest the best funds to choose for the long-term?

Mutual fund is the best financial instrument to invest. Despite joining the investing bandwagon late, you still have another 20 years of working life and can make up with regular and systematic investing. We suggest you suggest in a portfolio of five funds that will achieve growth over this phase. The equity allocation of this portfolio is 70 per cent and the funds selected are good with a proven track record and performance history.

Have an equal allocation to all the five funds and track their performance at least once a year to make any changes to fund selection if necessary.
