Long-term investors can hold onto this fund, even though it has not made a mark as yet…

I have invested Rs 10,000 in SBI PSU. What is the future of this plan?
This fund seeks to provide opportunities for long-term growth through an active management of investments in a diversified basket of equity stocks of domestic Public Sector Undertakings and in debt and money market instruments issued by PSUs and others corporate. A new fund, it was launched in June 2010 and had aimed to gain from the PSU disinvestment. However, it has not managed to make a mark it its performance as yet. If you are a long-term investor you can hold on to this, but there is a lesson for you from this investment; new fund offers should be considered only when they offer a compelling idea.
