Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has announced that Templeton Floating Rate Income Short Term Plan will be merged into Long Term Plan, with effect from November 26, 2010.

- The Retail (growth and dividend) and Institutional (growth and dividend) options under Templeton Floating Rate Short Term Plan are proposed to be merged into Retail and Institutional options under Templeton Floating Rate Long Term Plan, respectively.

- The portfolio of Templeton Floating Rate Short Term will be merged with the portfolio of Templeton Floating Rate Long Term Plan.

Subsequent to the merger, the nomenclature 'Long Term Plan' will be deleted from the name of the plan and the scheme with the consolidated portfolio will be referred to as Templeton Floating Rate Income Fund. The scheme will continue to be categorised as a debt scheme.
