Fortis Mutual Fund has approved the declaration of dividend under the dividend option of Fortis MIP – DQ, Fortis Flexi Debt Reg – DQ, Fortis Flexi Debt Reg A – DQ, Fortis Short term Income Reg – DQ, Fortis FTP Series 9 YA Reg – DQ, Fortis FTP Series 13 Plan D Reg – CalQ, Fortis Bond Reg – DQ.

The quantum of declaration will be 100 percent of distributable surplus as available under plan(s) on the record date. The record date is December 31, 2009.
