Fortis Bond Fund Institutional - Monthly and Regular Annual Declares Dividend

October 5, 2009 has been approved as the record date for declaration of dividends under Fortis Bond Fund - Institutional Plan-Monthly Dividend Option and Fortis Bond Fund - Regular Plan-Annual Dividend Option. The quantum of the declaration will be 100 per cent of the distributable surplus as available under the plan(s) on the record date.
