IDFC Government Securities Fund - Short Term Plan: Changes in Scheme Structure

IDFC MF has notified the following changes under Government Securities Fund - Short Term Plan:

1. Introduction of Institutional Plan 'Plan B'
Institutional Plan 'Plan B' will be introduced under IDFC Government Securities Fund - Short Term Plan with effect from November 10, 2008. The existing plan will be renamed as Regular Plan 'Plan A'. Details of the new plan are as follows:
Minimum application amount: Rs. 5,000.
Options: Dividend (Payout / Reinvestment) & Growth Option.
Dividend Frequency: Weekly (reinvestment only), Monthlty and Quarterly.
Face Value: Rs. 10.
Load structure:
Entry Load: Nil
Exit Load: 0.25% if redeemed within 15 days from the date of investment.

2. Changes in 'Plan A'
a. Weekly Dividend Option (reinvestment only) will be introduced under 'Plan A' with effect from November 10, 2008.
b. Exit load of 0.25% under 'Plan A' will be applicable if investment is redeemed within 15 days from the date of purchase.
