A special research team of Value Research has done some pioneering work that has laid bare the secret of why stock markets move up and what can be done to actually make them move up. Here's what this team's hard work has revealed. Over the last five years, without exception, they have noticed a tight correlation between the movement of the stock markets and the popularity of this website. The connection is uncanny. Whenever ValueResearchOnline starts getting more visitors and more pageviews, it has been found that stock prices broadly rise up at the same time. On the other hand, whenever ValueResearch Online.com gets fewer visitors, it was observed that the stock prices generally fell.
Amazingly, this connection was even maintained by the NAVs of individual mutual funds. On days when visitors to this website checked the NAV of a particular fund more than normal, the NAV of that fund turned out to have risen.
The conclusion is inescapable: The rise in stock prices is caused by people visiting ValueResearchOnline.com!
The discovery of this phenomena is likely to become the turning point in the history of the Indian investment markets (and obviously, of this website). If the investment community wants stock prices to go up, then all it has to do is to ensure that they visit ValueResearchOnline.com in greater and greater numbers. So if you want to make money, make sure you visit this site a lot and while you are here, click on a lot of links and visit a lot of pages. And of course, you would only be making more money by ensuring that all your friends, families and acquaintances do the same.
The research team which carried out this project intends to make this an annual feature and will be bringing you further updates on April 1 every year. Also, the team would like to thank companies whose products proved to be an invaluable help in their research. Some of these companies are United Breweries, Seagrams, Mohun Meakins, Heineken and may be a few more they just can't remember no matter how hard they try.
Happy Investing!

Your site is incredible. You are doing a great service to the MF investor community. Please publish the results of the research you had undertaken.

As I started reading this I thought it was silly to correlate as it would be a natural connection. But when I reached the second short para I got it.
Happy Fool's Day

I feel its rather because the stocks have gone up that customers check the price & NAVs and not the other way round. How can the stock market go up because few people are hitting your website. It is ridiculous. We expect a known research house to report things which are relevant to the markets than playing gimmicks.

Hi VR team, This is a very solid research (as always)....please add page "visit count" feature to all the pages with some recent history count so that I can make some profit ;-) Just wonder why it had to be published on Mar 31st? Let me do some research. Oh… There is not much time left for me :-(
