Rs 4K cr Deal is a Dampener?

Effect on ADAG group company shares was electric at best and a washout at worst

Just a day after it was announced that the Anil Ambani group (ADAG) had signed a Rs 4,000 crore deal with Hollywood veteran Steven Spielberg's company DreamWorks Studios, as well as the Chairman himself hinting that his group's media and entertainment business, Reliance Entertainment, may get listed, the scrips of the Indian conglomerate have not really been enthused, except for Adlabs Films.

The latter has jumped by as much as 10.92 per cent to Rs 328.60, on a day when the Sensex was up by a mere 0.02 per cent.

However, the other firms in the group, including Reliance Natural Resources (1.7%), Reliance Infra (-2.73%), Reliance Communications (4.01%), Reliance Capital (-.38%), and Reliance Power (-0.06%), barely managed to  move up noticeably, while others were stuck in red.
