About HGS (India) Company

HGS (India), established in 1986 as Geosource India in technical collaboration with Sensor Nederland B.V., began by manufacturing geophone strings and seismic cables for oil-and-gas and mineral exploration and has since broadened into a diversified geophysical-equipment manufacturer under the HG brand. Its core focus is precision instruments that detect and transmit ground-motion signals for seismic data acquisition, supporting subsurface exploration, monitoring and research. Its primary product segments include geophones, geophone strings, seismic cables, geophysical connectors, seismographs, digitisers, accelerometers, magnetometers, weight drops, pig-tracking systems and specialised monitoring equipment, with geophone strings and seismic cables remaining its principal revenue categories. Its expertise spans sensor design, cable extrusion, injection moulding, precision assembly, testing and customisation, supported by vertically integrated manufacturing at Manesar, Haryana, ISO 9001:2015 and ZED Gold certifications, and a wholly owned Netherlands subsidiary, HGS Products B.V., established in 2015 for international sales and support. A distinctive strength is its combination of in-house manufacturing, custom product development and global export reach, with products supplied to 47 countries and exports accounting for 84.22% of FY26 revenue. Its customers include seismic contractors, oil-and-gas companies, mining and mineral-exploration firms, defence and research organisations, and infrastructure-monitoring users; it served 149 domestic and foreign customers in FY26, with about 51 placing repeat orders over the prior three years. HGS (India) engages clients through specification-led product development, quality assurance, long-term supply relationships and international after-sales support, addressing industry challenges of measurement precision, harsh operating conditions, customised geoscience requirements and dependable global delivery.
