Incorporated in 2011, Grand Continent Hotels operates in the mid-scale hotel sector, catering primarily to Indian middle-class guests and business travelers. The company provides a value-for-money hospitality experience with a balance of affordability and comfort. It follows an asset-light model, primarily operating hotels under a direct lease model, with some properties owned outright. Additionally, the company collaborates with major franchise partners, such as Sarovar Hotels Private Limited and Royal Orchid Associated Hotels Limited, to enhance sales and marketing efforts. As of September 30, 2024, Grand Continent has 16 operational hotel properties with a total of 753 hotel keys across multiple states, including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. The company has a strong presence in Bengaluru, with 10 hotels (458 keys), accounting for 61% of its total hotel capacity and contributing 60% of total revenue.
