About Tata Multi Asset Allocation Fund - Regular Plan
Tata Multi Asset Allocation Fund - Regular Plan is a hybrid mutual fund scheme of Tata Mutual Fund. Launched on March 04, 2020, it is currently managed by Murthy Nagarajan, Sailesh Jain, Rahul Singh and Tapan Patel. The fund has an expense ratio of 1.88% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹5,001 Cr.
Tata Multi Asset Opportunities Fund - Regular Plan is a multi asset allocation fund. Such funds invest your money in a mix of equity shares, bonds and commodities (usually gold) such that each has at least 10 per cent allocation at all times. XX The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹100.

Capital Gains Taxation
The following tax treatment is based upon last 12-months asset allocation and may vary from other funds in the category.
- If the mutual fund units are sold after 1 year from the date of investment, gains upto Rs 1.25 lakh in a financial year are exempt from tax. Gains over Rs 1.25 lakh are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- If the mutual fund units are sold within 1 year from the date of investment, entire amount of gain is taxed at the rate of 20%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
