About Nippon India Gilt Fund
Nippon India Gilt Fund is a debt mutual fund scheme of Nippon India Mutual Fund. Launched on July 04, 2003, it is currently managed by Pranay Sinha. The fund has an expense ratio of 1.26% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹1,857 Cr.
Nippon India Gilt Securities Fund is mandated to invest at least 80 per cent of its assets in bonds issued by the government of India. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹100.
Investment Strategy
The scheme aims to generate optimal credit risk-free returns by investing in a portfolio of securities, issued and guaranteed by the Central and State Government.
