About Aditya Birla Sun Life Floating Rate Fund - Regular Plan
Aditya Birla Sun Life Floating Rate Fund - Regular Plan is a debt mutual fund scheme of Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. Launched on March 23, 2009, it is currently managed by Kaustubh Gupta and Harshil Suvarnkar. The fund has an expense ratio of 0.43% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹13,441 Cr.
Aditya Birla Sun Life Floating Rate Fund - Regular Plan is mandated to invest at least 65 per cent of its assets in bonds carrying a floating rate of interest. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹1,000.
Investment Strategy
The scheme aims to generate regular income through investment in a portfolio comprising substantially of floating rate debt / money market instruments, it may also invest a portion of its net assets in fixed rate debt securities and money market instruments.

Capital Gains Taxation
- If investment is made on or after 1 April 2023: Entire amount of gain is added to the investors' income and taxed according to the applicable slab rate.
- If investment is made before 1 April 2023:
- Sold within 2 years from the date of investment: Gains are added to the investors' income and taxed according to the applicable slab rate.
- Sold after 2 years from the date of investment: Gains are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
