About Bank of India Short Term Income Fund - Regular Plan
Bank of India Short Term Income Fund - Regular Plan is a debt mutual fund scheme of Bank of India Mutual Fund. Launched on December 18, 2008, it is currently managed by Mithraem Bharucha. The fund has an expense ratio of 1.18% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹272 Cr.
Bank of India Short Term Income Fund - Regular Plan is mandated to invest in bonds such that the duration of the portfolio is between one and three years. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹1,000.
Investment Strategy
The scheme seeks to generate reasonable returns by investing in debt and money market instruments. The scheme would not be investing more than 70% into securities having average maturity of more than 370 days.

Capital Gains Taxation
- If investment is made on or after 1 April 2023: Entire amount of gain is added to the investors' income and taxed according to the applicable slab rate.
- If investment is made before 1 April 2023:
- Sold within 2 years from the date of investment: Gains are added to the investors' income and taxed according to the applicable slab rate.
- Sold after 2 years from the date of investment: Gains are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
