Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of 8% (i.e. Rs 0.80 per unit on the face value of Rs. 10) under the dividend option of Birla Dividend Yield Plus Fund. The record date for the same has been fixed as April 30, 2007.
Last year, the fund paid a dividend of 8% in October.
