Optimix RetireInvest Fund Series I

The investment objective of the scheme is to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity-related securities. The latter will be accessed on the basis of advice from third party investment advisors selected in accordance with the Optimix Multi Manager investment process.

Multi Manager refers to the investment process by which the OptiMix Investment Team manages the funds held by OptiMix.

Positioned as the first “Manage the manager” scheme in the Optimix family, it is also the first tax planning ELSS fund launched under the Optimix multi manager scheme.

Little can be said on the past performance of the multi manager approach of Optimix as their first fund, a debt oriented FoF was launched only in April 2006. The first equity oriented fund was launched in July 2006.

Fund manager Sajjan Raut Desai has been with the fund house since March 2006. Currently, he jointly manages two debt oriented funds. Prior to joining Optimix, he was working with ICICI Bank as Head, Financial Advisory Desk, and BNP Paribas as Head of Equity Advisory Group.
