Dividend in Franklin India Opportunities

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of Rs 3 per unit (on a face value of Rs 10)

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of Rs 3 per unit (on a face value of Rs 10) under the dividend plan of Franklin India Opportunities. The record date for the same will be September 13, 2006. There will be one-day book closure in the growth and dividend plans of the scheme on September 14, 2006.

This is the second dividend payout from the fund. Last year the fund declared a 25 per cent dividend in September 2005.
