Escorts Mutual Fund has launched an ultra short-term debt fund. Named as Escorts Liquid, the fund would invest in money market and debt instruments. The aim is to optimise returns while providing liquidity. The fund would invest 90 to 100 per cent of the assets in money market instruments and the rest in debt instruments.

The New Fund Offer period of the scheme opened on September 27, 2005, and would continue till September 29, 2005.
