UTI Mutual Fund has declared a 20 per cent tax-free dividend (Re.2.00 per unit on a face value of Rs

UTI Mutual Fund has declared a 20 per cent tax-free dividend (Re.2.00 per unit on a face value of Rs.10/-) under UTI Mastershare. The record date for the dividend payout will be September 24, 2004. Investors who join the scheme on or before September 24, 2004 would be eligible for the dividend.

This is the eighteenth dividend payout from the fund. There have also been 2 rights issues and 3 bonus issues since inception.
