Franklin Templeton to merge two schemes

Franklin Templeton Mutual fund has decided to merge FT India Asset Allocation Fund into FT India Lif

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has decided to merge FT India Asset Allocation Fund into FT India Life Stage Fund of Funds (FoF) and FT India PE Ratio Fund into and FT India Dynamic PE Ratio FoF with effect from July 16, 2004.

The Pure Growth and Steady Growth plan under the FT India Asset Allocation fund will be merged into the 20s plan of FT India Life Stage FoF. While the Balanced Growth, Conservative Growth and Inflation Hedge plans will be merged into the 30s, 40s and 50s plan of the merged scheme, respectively.

The Dividend Reinvestment plan, Dividend Payout Plan and Growth Plan of FT India PE Ratio Fund will be merged into the respective plans of FT India Dynamic PE Ratio FoF.

However, the investment objective and the asset allocation pattern of both the merged schemes (FT India Life Stage FoF and FT Dynamic PE Ratio FoF) will remain the same.
