Have I chosen good funds?

Dhirendra Kumar tells if the selected funds are good to invest

I want to start an SIP of Rs 2,000 in three mutual fund schemes. I have shortlisted SBI Magnum Multicap, Aditya Birla Sun Life Equity, HDFC Capital Builder Value and ICICI Prudential Value Discovery. Please tell me which of them would be good or if I need to invest in any other fund.

You have chosen very good funds. There is no need to invest in three funds. Just pick ant two out of these four funds. All of them are good and one should ideally invest in a multicap fund only. Just make sure that you are investing for at least five years and remain regular in your SIPs.
