In order to provide maximum benefit to its investors, Chola Freedom Income Short-term Plan has announced an annual dividend of 50 per cent (Rs 5 per unit) in its Growth Plan. The record date for the same is March 26, 2002.
Very few funds have dared to declare dividend in their Growth option. For example, JM Balanced Fund has earlier declared a dividend of 45 per cent in February 2001 in its Growth plan.
The fund has recently been re-positioned as a short-term debt fund. Earlier, it was a medium term debt fund.
