What is the difference between offline and online insurance plans?
- Saurabh Goel
Online insurance plans are the ones that you purchase over the internet. Offline plans have to be bought by visiting the branch office or through an agent/broker.
Online plans are generally cheaper than offline plans. This is primarily because there is no intermediary involved in selling them. You are directly connected to the company through their website and the company sells the policy to you directly without paying any commission to agents/broker.
