How to switch to direct plans?

If you have an ongoing Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) in a regular plan, you should stop the SIP and open a new SIP in a direct plan

I have invested in various mutual funds through HDFC ISA account. I would like to switch all these funds from regular to direct plans. Please let me know how do I do it?

If you have an ongoing Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) in a regular scheme, you should stop the SIP and open a new SIP in a direct plan. However, you can invest in the same folio.

For lumpsum investments, you can obtain a transaction slip from HFDC website or you may visit any HDFC MF branch or CAMS office to get the transaction slip. You need to mark switch option, mention your folio number and the existing scheme name and the target scheme name. For example, if you have invested into HDFC Top 200, your existing scheme name would be HDFC Top 200- Regular Plan and target scheme name would be HDFC Top 200- Direct Plan. Submit the transaction slip to the nearest HDFC branch or CAMS office.
