Benefit of Investing Systematically

Investing regularly in well-performing funds even through the lean times will earn you substantial profits

I have been investing ₹1,000 each in Franklin India Flexicap and Franklin India Prima Plus for the past 5-6 years. I intend to invest for 15 years. The current value of my investments, are up by around ₹60,000. Should I redeem now?

You're experiencing the benefit of investing systematically even through the lean times. The markets haven't done substantially well over the past 5 years, and yet your investments have earned you a good profit. This is because you've invested systematically in good funds. Since you're investing for 15 years, don't redeem now. Continue investing.
